At Viconic (viconic.dev), we respect your privacy. As a tool built by Developers for Developers and Designers, we are committed to collecting only the data truly necessary for the system to function smoothly. We do NOT sell your data to any third parties.

1. Data We Collect

When you use Viconic, we only collect the following basic information:

Login Information (OAuth):

If you create an account via Google or GitHub, we only receive and store your Email Address, Display Name, and Avatar image. We absolutely do not receive, process, or store your password.

Activity Data (Voluntary):

Data about the Icon Kits that you actively create and store on our servers for account synchronization.

Technical Data (Infrastructure):

Partially anonymized IP address, browser type, and API call frequency. This data is collected automatically by the server system and Cloudflare CDN for the purposes of anti-spam, anti-DDoS, and system protection.

2. Cookies & Cache (LocalStorage)

Viconic prides itself on being a performance-first platform. To achieve "Zero-bundle bloat" and lightning-fast icon loading:

No Tracking Cookies:

We do not use malicious ad-tracking cookies to follow you across the web.

LocalStorage Usage:

Your browser will download and temporarily store (cache) static SVG codes in LocalStorage and IndexedDB. This allows icons to display instantly on subsequent visits without calling the network, saving bandwidth for both you and us. You can clear this cache at any time in your browser settings.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used only for the following internal purposes:

  • To authenticate your identity and maintain your login session.
  • To provide storage and management of your personal Icon Kits.
  • To analyze overall icon retrieval volume to optimize the cache on Cloudflare Edge CDN.

4. Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers. Your data only passes through highly reputable technical infrastructure partners we use to maintain Viconic:

Cloudflare:

Global CDN network for fast file delivery and server protection against cyberattacks.

Vercel / VPS Providers:

Server systems for hosting the platform source code and internal databases.

5. Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

Delete Account:

You have the right to request the complete removal of your account and all associated Kit data from our database at any time.

Revoke Access:

You can disconnect Viconic from your Google or GitHub account directly from those platforms' security settings pages.

6. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in technology or laws (e.g., when adding payment features). All changes will be clearly notified on the website.
