Welcome to Viconic (viconic.dev). By accessing our website, using our CDN system, or NPM package (viconic-react-icons), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any terms, please stop using the service immediately.
1. Nature of Service & Icon Ownership
Viconic is a Productivity Tool and content delivery system (CDN/NPM) that helps developers and designers manage, search, and copy icon codes (icons) quickly.
Ownership Disclaimer:
Viconic DOES NOT OWN, create, or hold copyrights to any icon sets displayed on the platform. All icons are aggregated from open-source databases and third-party free platforms.
Infrastructure Usage Rights:
When you use Viconic, you are using our Software, Bandwidth, and Infrastructure (search system, Smart CDN, 1-click JSX/SVG copy feature) for free. You absolutely DO NOT own the copyright of these icons through the use of our platform.
2. User Compliance with Licenses
While Viconic has made efforts to classify and prioritize icons with open licenses (such as MIT, CC0, Apache 2.0), the ultimate legal responsibility always lies with the end-user.
Duty to Check:
You are required to personally check and comply with the original license requirements accompanying each icon set (or each author) before using them in your own commercial or open-source projects.
Attribution:
Some licenses strictly require author attribution. You are solely responsible for fulfilling this. Viconic is completely indemnified from any legal disputes, copyright claims, or losses arising from your misuse of icons or violation of the original author's license.
3. Account Registration & Security
Viconic uses third-party authentication (Google, GitHub) to ensure maximum security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your linked devices and accounts.
Usage Policy:
Each registered account is for personal use only. Any behavior involving mass creation of virtual accounts, abuse of the storage system (Kit), or account sharing for data scraping purposes will result in a permanent ban without prior notice.
4. Prohibited Behaviors
To protect system quality and CDN bandwidth resources for the entire community, you are not allowed to:
- Use bots, automated software (scraper, spider) to crawl, bulk download, or extract databases on Viconic's website and API/CDN systems.
- Copy, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Viconic platform, Smart Loader system, or NPM package for the purpose of creating a directly competing product.
- Use Viconic's CDN system to embed into platforms spreading malware, illegal content, or spam.
5. Quality Commitment & Limitation of Liability
"As-Is" Basis:
Viconic and its accompanying tools (Web App, NPM Package) are provided completely free on an "As Is" and "As Available" basis. Although we put all our effort into maintaining uptime and optimizing performance, Viconic does not guarantee that the service will operate error-free or uninterrupted.
External Incidents:
We are not responsible if the platform malfunctions due to changes from third-party libraries (React, Tailwind...) or global network incidents.
Indemnity:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Viconic shall not be liable for any business damage, data loss, or project delays arising from system maintenance or interruption.
6. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to update or replace these Terms at any time (e.g., when the platform launches future upgraded/paid features). Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on the website. Your continued use of Viconic signifies your acceptance of the latest terms.
